Hostel la Creole




As one of the highest buildings in the neighborhood, Hostel La Creole will surely catch you eye. The historic front half of this hostel dates back to the 19th century. About 30 years ago it was used as a guesthouse with the name ‘La Creole’. When it closed its doors for guests, the building was abandoned for nearly 10 years until a renovation which started in 2009 brought it back to its original purpose: Hostel La Creole, but with all the comfort you expect from a hostel nowadays at low rates.


The second part of the hostel was added in the seventies. During the renovation of this part, they build 4 comfortable double rooms which open up on a courtyard. This area gives the hostel a homely atmosphere to relax and meet other adventurous travelers. On this side of the building you will also find the lounge room and there is also a fully equipped kitchen located. Furthermore is the parking for 8 cars with an automatic gate and a porch with hammocks.

Current state:

The current owners have recently purchased the property with the intention to complete the renovation and adjust all the current standards with the intent to deliver this hostel turnkey for an enthusiastic buyer who can start immediately. To this end, several renovations were made and delivered. A new logo was developed and promotional material is purchased in the form of business cards, stickers and pens. The website has been updated and a trainee is appointed. Furthermore all the rooms are painted, there is a camera system installed, security measures introduced to their maximum, all the booking site's approached, and the booking system is fully automated. If the key is handed to you, you get a ready running professional hostel, where many reservations are in place for the coming months.
